your videos are so well-done and your dream is also my dream. hopefully one day I can live it as you are doing. I am aware that this series is ending (for me -- I was late to the start) and thus am savoring every last one. I'm going to miss them when I've watched all the way through because I am thoroughly enjoying watching while eating my breakfast and starting out my day nice and peaceful-like (with a dose of reality in there always too). :) cheers to you and your beautiful family. you should feel very proud of all that you have accomplished and thank you for sharing it with all of us in such a meaningful way.

Hello Rebecca and brook, I’ve just watched both of your early videos renovations your farm and where you’re now entering life after that ???? Where you are really able now to start and live the France life style. I was moved to tears of a life I think I would have loved but never finding that right person to do it with and share it with. Well I did eventually meet and marry that right and beautiful minded young man I am 68 and hubby is 76. I’ve just started to tentatively look for a property in France and I guess your heart warming and heroic efforts are great for me to see. Hubby has Parkinson’s disease now and is limited but he said only last night that he’d follow me anywhere. How are things progressing… love to here back from you … Jayne & Woody

Love this! I know it's a few years old now, but I am moving from Texas USA to Southern France in 2025. I know what it's like in the summer (heaven!), but will be doing a scouting trip in Jan-Feb to see what winter is like. I am predisposed to the MIdi-Pyrenees region, but open to a lot more. I am not too worried - I grew up in Chicago, now THAT is cold!

A tracker might help. I hung a fence all the way around my house with different bells on each side. That way I at least knew which direction. Remember in a blink of eye 20-25 years flies by and then all that sleep you missed and found time for catch up sleeping. So fun. So exhausting. Goes by quick.

I gave up most everything that gradually mattered more than the healthy, joyous life I’d begun. Back to basics now.
